Questions about advertising
Who can advertise?
Registered JNVKAA members with an approved listing in the alumni business directory. Ads promote only your own business.
When do I pay?
After an admin approves your ad. Nobody pays for an ad that is then rejected. Pay online (card, UPI, net banking) or by UPI with a reference that the office verifies.
When does my ad start?
At 00:00 IST on the start date you choose, or on the day you pay if that's later. It runs for the full period of the plan.
What can't be advertised?
Alcohol, tobacco, gambling or betting, adult content, weapons, political or religious campaigning, schemes promising financial returns, misleading claims and anything illegal. See the advertising policy.
Can I pause my ad?
Yes, from "My ads". Pausing stops it showing; the end date doesn't move. Pausing your listing pauses its ads too.
Will I see how it performs?
Yes. "My ads" shows daily views and clicks for every ad. We don't collect personal data about who saw it.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for an ad stopped after payment are at the association's discretion, under the refund policy. Ads you withdraw before paying cost nothing.
Is a listing still free?
Always. Listing your business in the directory is free for members; advertising is an optional extra.
